Galaxy II Update Install Instructions

Using DartComm

  1. Download the update file from the previous page.
  2. Put the Galaxy II software CAB file in the DartComm installation directory. By default this directory is:

    C:\Program Files\Dartman\DartComm.
  3. Open Dartman for Windows.
  4. Click on COMMUNICATIONS on the side menu.
  5. Select RUN DARTCOMM.
  6. With the GENERATE FILES menu open select the files you want to generate or click NO to enter DartComm without generating any files.
  7. On DartComms main menu, click on DISK/ZIP/POCKET PC.
  8. Click on Port-A-Flash.
  9. Make sure the Galaxy 2 Software Update option is checked.
  10. Make sure the proper drive for the Port-A-Flash reader\writer is selected.
  11. Click Create Update.

Using LeagueComm

  1. Open LeagueComm. If a new version of the Galaxy II is available, you will be asked if you wish to download it.
  2. Click Yes. This will automatically download the latest version of Galaxy II software.
    • The latest version of Galaxy II software available in LeagueComm can be seen by clicking on the Configure button.
  3. Click on Create a Disk Update.
  4. Click on Port-A-Flash.
  5. Verify the Galaxy 2 Software Update option is checked.
  6. Verify the proper drive for the Port-A-Flash Reader\Writer is selected.
  7. Click Create Update.

The file is now on the Port-A-Flash ready to use to update your Galaxy II machines.
