Dmbackup.bat is an updated backup file for Dartman (any version).
It now works with any version of DOS or Windows
and has a new compression feature to save diskette space.

To take advantage of this update - download the two files:

DMBACKUP.BAT and DRESTORE.BAT

then copy them to your DM3 directory overwriting the old dmbackup.bat.

After you have copied both files to your DM3 directory the backup routine
will run automatically when you quit Dartman and choose >YES< to backup your 
data files to floppy disk.  You will be prompted to insert a BLANK,
FORMATTED, floppy into drive A, and then press any key to continue.
Your data files will them be compressed and
copied to the floppy.  Remove the floppy and mark the date and time 
of the backup on the diskette label.

To restore your files:
From the DOS prompt - make DM3 the current working directory then type:

DRESTORE      And press enter.

The batch program will prompt you to insert your backup disk into 
the A drive and then press any key to continue.
The files on the backup disk will be uncompressed and restored 
to the DM3/DATA directory.  WARNING! ANY CHANGES TO YOUR LEAGUE 
DATA SINCE THE LAST BACKUP WILL BE OVER WRITTEN!

BOTH THE BATCH FILES ARE SET UP ASSUMING THAT YOUR HARD DRIVE IS DESIGNATED LETTER
"C" AND YOUR FLOPPY AS "A".  IF YOUR SYSTEM IS CONFIGURED DIFFERENTLY PLEASE CALL THE
NUMBER BELOW FOR MODIFICATIONS.  THANK YOU.
