Dartman™ for Windows

Introducing DartmanTM for Windows

The Dartman League Management System was developed to help league coordinators accurately and efficiently maintain a record of all league statistics. Used with the Arachnid dartboards, the time involved in league operations is reduced drastically. Paperwork is virtually eliminated. This gives the league coordinator more time to promote leagues, secure new locations, recruit new players and other tasks essential for a profitable dart league.

League files, standings, schedules and stats can all be transferred back and forth over the modem. Stats can be collected at your convenience because all player stats are stored on the boards. No score sheets are required.

The easiest way to collect stats is by using the modem. Both the Arachnid dartboards and Dartman for Windows have built in communication systems. The computer will call the board and perform all of the transferring of data required. Not only will Dartman for Windows collect the data but, after the stats are loaded into leagues, it will send the standings back to the board.

For those who like visiting the locations and collecting stats while standing at the boards, there are other ways to transfer data. The Galaxys use Operator and Player Cards. The Black Widows can use JAZ or ZIP Drives to get the job done. Galaxy II’s employ Pocket PC’s, Laptops and the Port-A-Flash.

Dartman for Windows can also be used as a manual entry program. It will perform all of the normal tasks that it would if you have collected via modem. This means that you can virtually run foosball, pool, and air hockey leagues off of our system.

We at Arachnid are very proud of our customer service. Helping with Dartman for Windows is no exception. As with all of our products we offer full support. If there is any problem, question or suggestion please call 1-800-435-8319.

We look forward to hearing from you!

Dartman for Windows is designed to manage all of your dart league needs with the following features:

Dartman for Windows Main Screen

SETTING UP LEAGUES

Dartman for Windows has a simple, step by step process for creating a new league. Simply select Leagues|New from the side menu or the menu bar. Dartman will then walk you through your league setup. It will prompt you for information on the League, Players, Teams, Locations, and Schedule information. After this is completed, select Schedules|Set Match Dates to generate the actual dates to be played. After the Schedule is created you will need to use Winstat to setup the playing order (see Setting Shooting Order below).

SETTING SHOOTING ORDER

Dartman for Windows has a new match setup utility called WinStat. To run, select Communications|Launch WinStat. WinStat allows the operator to set up single-headed and double-headed shooting orders using a simple drag and drop interface (If you intend to run double-headed leagues, make sure all locations for the league have Black Widows to play the matches.).

COMMUNICATIONS

Once the league files are prepared in Dartman for Windows, it is time for DartComm to communicate with the dart machines. DartComm will read all pertinent data in Dartman to create the necessary transactions and setup up the Auto Call list.
